Naranjal - Week 4

Ha sido una semana loca

This week was full of miracles. We were able to find new investigators every single day this week. We have a lot of work to do now to help them progress!

We had a surprise investigator come to church this week. We didn't recognize him as an investigator because he came with a white shirt and tie, but he told us he came to church today because 2 years back his mom and siblings got baptized. He was the only one who didn't get baptized. Recently his mom passed away and he feels he needs to make changes in his life. In our lesson with him he expressed sincere desires to repent. My companion and I were able to testify to him that he was in the right place and that change is possible and joyful. His little brother and sister (who are members) were also present in the lesson. Although we could feel that they all were all a little bit sad in the beginning, we were able to help them see the light and joy of the gospel.

My companion and I stopped by a member to pick up a paper, and we asked her how her neighbors were doing and if any of them would receive us right now. She said her brother lived down the street and she came with us to show us the house. As we were walking, a woman passed by and the member introduced her to us (her other neighbor). She invited us to her house across the street from the member and one hour later we had a family of 4 with a baptismal date. They didn't attend church! But this week that is our focus, to help them attend. Experiences give me FIRE. And when I get more FIRE, I get more experiences. And then it starts multiplying.

The members are great here. The ward is older and has more order than the other wards I have been in. The members are always ready to help us. My pensionista is sooo good.

nos vemos lunes
